Mitchell Morrison has been an active part of the Dallas music scene since 2004. Once a full-time musician with a book full of dates and a back pocket full of cover songs, Mitchell now limits himself to serving at his home church of Lake Pointe on the weekends, and spends the rest of his free time with his wife and son.

Since 2016, he has owned & operated Morrison Guitar Shop in Rockwall, Texas. During the Covid Pandemic, Mitchell avoided the eventual closure of his business by building acoustic/electric guitars from scratch, with an average price tag of $3,500.

As an enthusiast of analog circuitry, Mitchell has produced many guitar amps, pedals, and other gadgets over the years. He has enjoyed employing hundreds of guitars with his Cadence Acoustic Pickup, and has recently satisfied the itch to produce offerings for the active electric player, namely, the Alchemist amplifier pedal.

Mitchell is a firm believer in equipment that fits an application perfectly, is simple to use, and is made to last.

To officialize these consolidated offerings of state-of-the-art guitar gear, Mitchell founded the M1 Amplifier Company in late 2024.
